2. WHAT DATA DO WE PROCESS AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE?

We process only the data strictly necessary to fulfill our obligations. The user guarantees that the data provided is truthful, accurate, and complete, releasing FOREDU from any liability for false or incorrect data.

  • Contract Management: Order processing, payment management, shipping, and after-sales service (including exchanges and returns)..
  • Customer Support: Handling inquiries received through contact channels, chat, or web forms.
  • Commercial Purpose (Soft Opt-in): Sending commercial communications about FOREDU products or services similar to those contracted, based on legitimate interest, unless you object.
  • Legal Obligations: Fraud prevention, compliance with tax regulations, and requests from competent authorities.

3. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

The legal bases that allow us to process your data are:

  1. Contract Performance: Essential for the sale and delivery of products.​

4. RECIPIENTS AND DATA TRANSFERS

Your data will only be shared with third parties when strictly necessary:

  • Service Providers (Data Processors): Transport companies, payment gateways, and accounting/tax advisory services.​
  • Legal Obligation: Tax Agency, Law Enforcement Agencies, and judicial bodies.​
  • International Transfers: We use Mailchimp (Intuit) for commercial communications. This transfer is safeguarded under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, ensuring security standards equivalent to those in the EU.

5. DATA RETENTION AND “BLOCKING”

Data will be retained for as long as the contractual or commercial relationship remains active. Once it ends:

  • Data will be blocked for the legally required limitation periods (generally 6 years under commercial law and 4 years under tax law) to address potential liabilities.
  • After these periods, the data will be permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

6. USER RESPONSIBILITY

The user is solely responsible for safeguarding their access credentials to the store. FOREDU shall not be liable for any consequences arising from unauthorized third-party access due to the user’s negligence in protecting their credentials.

7. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

You have the right to: Access, Rectification, Erasure, Objection, Portability, and Restriction of processing.

  • IIdentification: To prevent unauthorized access to your information, FOREDU reserves the right to request proof of identity (such as a copy of your ID or equivalent) if there are reasonable doubts about the applicant’s identity.
  • Complaint: If you believe your rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
